Congratulations Beacon Heights Elementary School, Salt Lake City School District

They spent one year working on a pilot program to get some STEAM going for the Engineering/Design process. Arts specialist, Donna Pence, incorporated this work into the art space, integrating science, literacy, and social studies. This whole project falls under the “project based learning model” culminating in a city design that was displayed at the Salt Lake City Library’s main downtown branch.
