Activities included Master Classes and Film Workshops for dancers ages 12-18, as well as dance activities for children, teens and adults. Creative Processes in the Elementary Classroom

Tamara Goldbogen, BTS Endowed Chair for Arts Learning at Weber State University, is offering a special section of Creative Processes in the Elementary Classroom. This graduate level course is for BTSALP arts specialists, professional development partners, instruction coaches, and other stakeholders of the program in the Davis, Ogden, and Weber school districts, as well as the surrounding BTSALP charter schools. BTSALP is Back in School!

BTSALP is Back in School!

Our first statewide BTSALP newsletter comes out today.  Click here to view our newsletter, learn more about the BTSALP program, and see how different schools and art form specialists start the school year off with arts integration. Woodrow Wilson Elementary Visual Art Specialist Rosie Mitchell, has all the students in the school draw self portraits to add to the Community of Art display.  This helps to establish a collaborative, creative school community during the very first week of school.

    Susan Antonelli Susan Antonelli is an educational consultant and author of the Wonder Teacher blog. Certified as an early childhood and elementary teacher, she also earned a Master’s Degree in Elementary School Administration from The Citadel. She began her career as a 3rd grade teacher at Ashley River Creative Arts Elementary School where she earned National Board Certification as a Middle Childhood Generalist.
